Auditions

The audition will include singing songs and performing a dance routine from the show. Everyone who auditions WILL be cast in the show!

Where: Heritage Academy Gateway K-8 Campus JH Choir room

When: Monday, November 18 and Tuesday November 19

Eveyone who auditions WILL be CAST in the show.

SINGING: (You can do either option below):

1. Prepare a BROADWAY STYLE song of your choice—30 seconds to 1 minute in length. You must bring a DOWNLOADED copy of the accompaniment with NO SINGING on the track for your audition.

2. Prepare one of the song samples below—you will sing this with ACCOMPANIMENT ONLY at the audition.

DANCING:

You will learn and perform a dance combination at the audition to be performed in small groups.

CALLBACKS/CASTING:

We will post a call back list on the evening of November 19 and have callbacks on November 20. The cast list will be up by November 22.

First Rehearsal: Saturday, November 23 9:00am-1:00pm,

We will have a limited number of rehearsals before Winter Break, and then start a full rehearsal schedule after the break. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be given at the first rehearsal on November 23, and every week you will receive an email with any needed updates.
